When on 26 May 2014 I spontaneously founded MicroFlag to make some money as a student, I had no idea it would turn into a serious project. At best, I thought, five or ten micronations would place orders for flags.
The reality surpassed my wildest expectations. Already in the first year, MicroFlag got more clients than I could ever imagine.
What have we achieved so far?
Over the years, MicroFlag produced and shipped thousands of flags to all the continents including Antarctica. Dozens of micronations count among MicroFlag’s regular customers, and since 2015 there has not been a single major micronational summit without at least one flag supplied by us. In fact, we don’t believe such a summit is even possible now. MicroFlag became the default flag supplier for micronations, much like Google became the default search engine. The record for the world’s largest micronational flag belongs to us. Quite possibly, we are the most successful micronational business ever. And even though today the majority of our customers are not micronationalists, we will always remain proud of our micronational heritage.
MicroFlag became the game changer for the flag market. No longer is it necessary to choose between quality and affordability. What started as a hobby, turned into a proper small enterprise whose turnout is steadily growing each year.
On our seventh anniversary, I would like to thank all our customers who made those achievements possible, especially those who have been with us since 2014 and put trust in us while we were still unknown. Our mission was to bring high-quality and affordable custom flags to the market; I’m happy to say that we succeeded.
